About.. [me]

South American - raised, I was shaped by the richness of cultures and conversations that trained me to perceive space through the deeply relational, human lens. My work is informed by close examination of the works of Carlo Scarpa, Diller Scofidio + Renfro, and a fascination with the sculptural, experiential interventions of Thomas Heatherwick.

My design process often begins with something oddly specific… a historic detail, an element in nature, a feeling I can’t let go of. I’m drawn to unconventional observations and follow those threads until they take form.

For me, design is a practice of making sense of space; One that cultivates presence and grounds people within the environments they inhabit.
